8th May 2009

Pandemic H1N1 2009 related information is available on the FAO and OIE websites. General guidance for the international  shipment of samples for laboratory diagnostics is available at this link.

If assistance is needed for shipment, please contact empres-shipping-service@fao.org.

Below is the interim list of laboratories that have agreed to receive Pandemic H1N1 2009 suspected specimens and/or isolates with short notice, considering that there is currently no designated OIE/FAO reference laboratory for swine influenza.
